IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: Routed Sound End User License Agreement (“EULA”)

This End-User License Agreement (“EULA”) is a legally binding agreement between you, either an individual or a single entity, and Routed Sound LLC (“Routed Sound”) for the Routed Sound Digital Content that you have licensed, which includes the following: (i) VST presets, (ii) source sound files, and (iii) any printed, “online,” or electronic documentation (collectively referred to as the “CONTENT”). By licensing, copying, or otherwise using the CONTENT, you signify your agreement to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to the terms of this EULA, you must refrain from using the CONTENT.

The CONTENT is protected by copyright laws, international copyright treaties, and other intellectual property laws and treaties. The rights granted under this EULA are non-transferable and require validation through proof of purchase. All rights not explicitly granted to you under this EULA are reserved by Routed Sound.

GRANT OF LICENSE

In exchange for the license fee (“LICENSE FEE”) you have paid (and for our FREE download packs), Routed Sound provides a “MEDIA LICENSE” to you and those you designate (subject to the transfer restrictions outlined herein). This MEDIA LICENSE is exclusively intended for a single user. The MEDIA LICENSE can be granted either as an ACCESS or as a PRODUCT.

All CONTENT provided under this agreement is licensed, not sold, to you by Routed Sound. This license permits both commercial and non-commercial use across any existing or future media and platforms (e.g., music, sound effects, audio/video post-production, performance, broadcasting, multimedia, video game development, and similar content creation and production, as well as any associated promotional or advertising activities), for works created by you during the duration of this AGREEMENT (collectively referred to as “PRODUCTION”), on a global scale.

The duration of this AGREEMENT varies depending on the type of license:

  • For a PRODUCT license, the term is defined below.
  • For an ACCESS license, the term is defined below.

This AGREEMENT grants you a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive right to integrate or synchronize the CONTENT into your PRODUCTIONS without the obligation to (i) pay any extra license fees to Routed Sound or any third party, aside from the License Fee specified in this agreement; (ii) acquire additional clearances or permissions; or (iii) provide source attribution to Routed Sound or any third party. The MEDIA LICENSE encompasses mechanical, synchronization, public performance, and broadcast rights.

The MEDIA LICENSE provides you with a worldwide and limited right to use, re-record, duplicate, incorporate, modify, adapt, embed, and exploit all or a portion of the CONTENT in your PRODUCTION for the duration of this AGREEMENT, without any further payment to Routed Sound or any third party (royalty-free). You are permitted to reproduce the CONTENT provided that the PRODUCTION includes an additional element, such as voice, music, images, etc. Examples of acceptable uses include but are not limited to, inclusion in radio programs, podcasts, mobile apps, television broadcasts, film soundtracks, music albums, websites, advertising, multimedia presentations, video games, and other similar products.

LICENSE PURCHASE

  • We provide two options for obtaining a valid MEDIA LICENSE: either as an ACCESS or as a PRODUCT. The total payment for acquiring the MEDIA LICENSE, whether in the form of an ACCESS or PRODUCT, is collectively referred to as the “LICENSE FEE” in this agreement. The rights to the CONTENT, as outlined in the MEDIA LICENSE, are exclusively conferred upon you once the full LICENSE FEE has been both paid by you and received by us. In the absence of the complete payment of the LICENSE FEE, you do not possess a valid MEDIA LICENSE.
  • PRODUCT:  Upon full payment of the LICENSE FEE, you are granted a perpetual MEDIA LICENSE for a single product or bundle.
  • ACCESS: Upon full payment of the LICENSE FEE, you are granted a perpetual MEDIA LICENSE for the selected plan, which includes unlimited future updates.

LIMITATIONS

This license explicitly prohibits the unauthorized inclusion of the CONTENT or the creation of new audio content derived from or based on the CONTENT, as well as the generation of new audio content through the mixing of CONTENT with other audio content, whether in whole or in part, within any library (e.g., sample instrument, sound effects library, music library as single accessible stems, etc.), whether online or offline, without our explicit written consent. If you intend to use our CONTENT in any such manner, please reach out to us to obtain a REPRODUCTION LICENSE for our CONTENT.

The MEDIA LICENSE also prohibits any method of redistributing the CONTENT, including but not limited to reselling, trading, sharing, resampling, mixing, processing, isolating, or embedding it into software or hardware of any kind for the purpose of re-recording or reproduction as part of any free or commercial library of musical and/or sound effect samples, articulations, or any form of musical sample or sound effect sample playback system or device.

Please note that our MIDI files are intended solely for demonstration purposes. You are not permitted to use the melodies provided by these MIDI files in your production.

REPRESENTATION

Routed Sound exclusively owns and maintains all rights associated with the CONTENT covered by this Agreement. Routed Sound shall retain the rights to utilize the CONTENT as defined in this Agreement within the specified Territory and throughout the Term. Routed Sound will indemnify and protect you from any claims, liabilities, expenses, losses, or damages (excluding attorney’s fees) arising from any violation of these representations.
